Vincent Ivan Dominello is an accomplished fine artist who has been recognized by the Midwest Museum of Art and other regional art associations for his chalk pastel and oil landscapes. His style could best be described as slightly impressionistic, focused on creating atmosphere by contrasting warm and cool colors. Detail in his work is important, but this receives less emphasis when Vince is exploring color and composition. He specializes in dramatic landscapes depicted during various seasons and times of day.
The South Bend native is a graduate of St. Joseph's High who continued his love for drawing by attending Indiana University, South Bend, which excels in the area of fine art. In 1993, he earned a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, and then went on to manage custom art framing shops in Mishawaka and Elkhart. In 1998, he opened Vincent Ivan's Gallery in Granger. Now relocated in expanded facilities in River Park, the gallery gives Vince the opportunity to share his artistic talents and framing skills with many clients. In his spare time, he creates original landscapes, and frames them exquisitely so that they are ready for display in a customer's home or office.
